Join The Next SUMexams To Build Exam Confidence

Your teen is working hard.
They are putting in the effort.

But their results just aren't reflecting the grade.

They are revising.

They are practising questions.
They are trying to improve.

But something just isn't quite adding up?

SUMexams is the missing step between revising and feeling confident in those upcoming GCSE exams.

Write your awesome label here.

When it comes to applying knowledge in exams, it is not that teens don't understand the maths.

It is often that they haven't practised enough papers outside of exam conditions.

SUMexams was built to close that gap directly.

A real exam workbook with an honest insight into the mark scheme,
and live masterclasses delivered around what the examiners want to see.

Self marking builds honesty.

The masterclasses build the skills.

How SUMexams Works

 · Gain Insight From A GCSE examiner  ·  Edexcel Focused ·

Usually held at the end of the month or during school holidays to keep consistency in revision and motivation.

The Workbook

Around 11 exam style questions, are available to work through ahead of the masterclass.  A chance for teens to properly see what they can and can't do before the live session.

Initially advised to work through untimed, whilst becoming familiar with exam skills. SUMexams is about applying the topic properly, not racing against the clock.

When the exam period gets closer, students can then start to time themselves.
This will help develop exam pace on top of recalling  the accuracy already built.

The Masterclasses

As a practising GCSE examiner, Abbie walks through exactly what examiners are looking for, where marks are commonly lost, and how to word workings so nothing gets missed.

Two live 50 minute masterclasses to walk through the workbook.
Part A & Part B

Each session is a walk-and-talk through the mark scheme, question by question.

Teens see exactly how marks are awarded,
breaking down what needs to be shown in the workings to get the marks.  Not just what the answer is.

The Analysis

Too often, teens say they don't know what to revise, let alone how to revise. Analysis is the part that solves this problem.

After the walk and talk through where marking has happened, each topic gets a RAG rating.

In SUMexams teens aren't just doing and marking a workbook.  Instead they are given the chance to really identify their individual strengths and weaknesses,

At this stage teens build a system that identifies the topics they need to return to before the real exams get closer.
